Unmapped Instruments View
The Unmapped Instruments view is a custom report that evaluates all Instruments that are a part of this Entity Set that aren't mapped to an Allocation Path for this Entity Set.
Unmapped Instruments Features
Instruments should only have one unique Allocation Path they are associated with, via Mappings, so the system can immediately and uniquely allocate all Transactions for that Instrument correctly.
The Unmapped Instruments view is a report that evaluates the following:
- Gathers all Entities within the Entity Set structure via Set Entities.
- Builds a distinct list of all Instruments linked to Transactions booked against the gathered Entities.
- Excludes any Instruments marked as Allow Unmapped Instrument
- Loads all Allocation Mappings in the system for those Instruments
- Any Instruments that don't belong to a Mapping, aren't marked as "Allow Unmapped" and thus don't have an associated Allocation Path to allocate Transactions via are highlighted in this report.
Unmapped Instrument Properties
The Unmapped Instruments view has the following properties:
| Name | Description |
| Name | The unique name of the Instrument that is unmapped within this Entity Set |
| Currency | The currency of the Instrument that is unmapped |
| Owning Entity | The owning entity of the unmapped Instrument |
| Allow Unmapped | Indicates if this Instrument is allowed to be unmapped |
