The UI section of the API platform within the context of the menu in the standard user interface is designed to allow you to deal with configuration around all user interface elements that isn't covered by designers or actual code.
API UI Features
The User Interface part of our API section is dedicated to easy, quick, powerful, and complete customisation of the platform. You can change the look and feel of every part of the product for your own corporate branding/terminology to enable easier user onboarding, or you can go as far as white-labelling it into a completely new product.
This is achieved through two simple sets of functionality:
Custom Images This allows you to add your own unique branded/themed icons. They can be used for everything you design in the platform as well as to override the default icons on everything you like.
Layouts This allows you to change the default layouts for every screen in the system. You can tailor the standard views for different roles, or requirements, including bespoke screens you've created for your own functionality. All of this is dynamically interpreted for our multi-platform client applications.
