Transaction Types View
Transaction Types hold the header information for grouping sets of relevant Transaction Values together. Transaction Values hold the fields that all Transactions in the system can record.
Transaction Type Properties
Transaction Types have the following properties:

| [Required] [Key] Name | The unique friendly name of the Transaction Type |
| Type | The type of transaction values. Notional use only.

| Description | A user friendly description of this Transaction Type |
Commands
A Transaction Type has the standard set of commands and functions when being viewed from a grid. See our standard grid functionality.
Transaction Types can be exported and imported as packaged xml files to transfer configuration across systems. Again this is available from the standards grid commands.
