Teams View
The Teams view allows you to specify the basic details about teams, which can be used for controlling all permissions throughout the system.
Team Properties
Teams have the following properties:
| Name | Description |
| [Required] Name | The user friendly unique name for a team |
| [Required] [Key] Three Letter Code | The unique short name for the team that is used throughout the application |
| Description | A user friendly description of the team and it's purpose |
| Can Edit System Items | Indicates if the team is allowed to edit items that are marked as being system items |
| Admin Permissions | Indicates if this team has admin permissions and can always access all data. This permission is locked to the default Admin Team and can not be altered in other teams. |
Commands
A team has the standard set of commands and functions when being viewed from a grid. See our standard grid functionality.
Teams can be exported and imported as packaged xml files to transfer configuration across systems. Again this is available from the standard grid commands.
