Tasks
Tasks can be used anywhere in the system against any object. You can create tasks as stand-alone items, or related to any entity in the system. They can track basic task status information, provide notifications, be a part of your workflow processes, and integrate with our other workflow tools such as comments, watchers and documents.
Task Features
A task contains status information about any task in the system. They can fully integrate with our other workflow tools and provide the following features:
- Track task percent progress
- Track deadlines and importance
- Have notes associated with them
- Tasks can be created standalone
- Tasks can be created against any item in the system
- Integrate completely with all the following workflow tools:
- Watchers
- Comments
- Documents
- Can be configured to notify people of tasks assigned to them or other specific changes to tasks.
This allows you to easily assign tasks to users/roles/teams in the system who can be notified internally (or via email/etc) of tasks assigned to them and act on that easily from within the application.
