The Data Sources is a tool window [more info] which allows you to view and edit tags that are associated with records in the system. This way you can tag any record with arbitrary tags defined in the system.
Tag Features
For each Tag [more info] you have setup in the system you can define that tag as being associated with any record in the system. These tags can be used to aid arbitrary groupings, reporting, exporting and other tasks.
The Tags tool window works against the currently active layout and has the selection header view to enable the functionality to also work against the currently selected rows in a grid as you work with them.
Views
The Tags Tool Window allows you to modify the tags associated with data through the following views:
Selection View Allows you to select between the current active layout and data and the currently selected rows of grids within it.
Tags View Allows you to view and modify tags against the current active data record
