Instrument View
The Instrument view provides a basic view of the header information for an Instrument and the core properties of the core Base Instrument type it inherits [more info].
Instrument Properties
Instruments have the following properties:
| Name | Description |
| [Required] [Key] Name | The unique name of this instrument |
| [Required] Currency | The currency of this financial Instrument. This is the Local Currency used for all Transactions operating with this Instrument. |
| Allow Unmapped | This indicates that this Instrument doesn't require an Allocation Mapping, and is fine not being automatically associated with an Allocation Path. This will exclude the Instrument from the Unmapped Instruments report, and and Period End processing. |
