GL Rollup View
GL Rollups enable you to create hierarchical GL specific reports that rollup account balances according to your reporting requirements. This enables you to easily create standard, and advanced reports, such as trial balance/p&l/capital account statements/etc.
GL Rollup Features
GL Rollups allow you to define a report against the gl data processed in a period end. Each Gl Rollup runs against one GL Account Classification, allowing you to categorise and rollup your accounts according to any reporting requirements you have.
You can create as many GL Rollups as you like against the same or different GL Classifications allowing you to report on the period end data using as many different reporting standards as you require.
Each GL Rollup can be run against any period end allowing you to instantly see that data the way you require. See our SQL Wrappers or Period Ends for running the GetGLRollup report.
GL Rollup Properties
GL Rollups have the following properties:

| [Required] [Key] Name | The unique user friendly name of this GL Rollup |
| Description | A user friendly description of this GL Rollup |
| [Required] GL Classification | The GL Classification this GL Rollup will use to rollup the period end data by category name. See GL Classifications for more info. |
Commands
A GL Rollup has the standard set of commands and functions when being viewed from a grid. See our standard grid functionality.
GL Rollups can be exported and imported as packaged xml files to transfer configuration across systems. Again this is available from the standards grid commands.
